After a long stretch without a real break, I finally packed up the car and headed west — just me, my camera, and a week in Colorado Springs. It wasn’t a group trip or a planned itinerary with anyone else, just time to breathe, wander, and see what I could capture through the lens.

The week became exactly what I needed — a mix of quiet drives, mountain air, and new perspectives. Each day had its own story, from crossing suspension bridges in the sleet to watching lions at the Denver Zoo and exploring the hidden corners of Manitou Springs or the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
